I did a great work i guess my configuring the weblook express so that it connects to any imap server.
for eg. it can now connect to imap.aol.com for AOL , mail.messagingengine.com for Fastmail.fm accounts.

Lots of cool stuff have been added to the application. Mail highlighting, email flag icons, caching of mailboxes etc.

Still working on the compose feature which comprises of the floating compose window making the background transparent and unusable. weblook express is all about end user experiences at the cost of bandwidth and patience. i take every step carefully so that it is optimized by design from scratch.

Some of the plans in forthcoming weekends are as follows
1. additions of Drag 'n' Drop of mails to mailbox.
2. Pagination of mails for selected mailbox
3. changing email flag status

Though i am doing right from scratch using the squirrelmail and dojo toolkit, lots of changes are needed in order to make it like desktop application. but it is progressing in good manner. Today weblook express has not only got the UI design, but also some functionality listed below

1. Menu Bar
   a. Help Menu
   b. File Menu - added signout functionality
2. Folder Tree 
   a. Message count, unread count using squirrelmail plugin
   b. different icons for folders
3. User Home Page
   a. Integrated a retreiveuserdata squirrlemail plugin to fetch the name from LDAP server

Weblook Express is a web mail client which has the outlook express like interface. Weblook express uses popular web mail client squirrelmail and Dojo toolkit - AJAX Framework Toolkit for its operations. All integration between the webmail and dojo toolkit is done manually.

Squirrelmail being the backend from the server side serves what dojo toolkit asks which is in the client side. the object is to port windows desktop based outlook express application over to the web their by people have the feel of using outlook express on the web.

Weblook Express aims to give the user more flexible way of organizing email. To an extent, it could accomplish most of the features available in the today's email client.
